the powder and dust were covering everything around, making vision and breathing impossible!
A strange creature is blamed for a terrible drought in the neighborhood of the village of red oak. where people which had the habit to play with water in summer In the local river found a surprising drought this year! There was a fluvial beach for kids to play! suddenly, in that same place, there was powder and dust ! like in many other places up the map! we could see the rocky bottom of the river! levels of water lowered to nothing! and all the other local rivers and lakes and fountains were dry also! After the first week of drought …and it has been like that, for two months now, it is the worst drought anyone had ever seen in this neighborhood. And the absence of water brought death! the air was filthy and the aridity of the land was killing anything in it. Emergency measures were needed because of the rainlessness weather.
Another day of mid-August 2018 the temperature outside its 114 Fahrenheit around 45 c.the dust storm of last weak left everything covered with a golden cloak outside .and inside the house,the kitchen service is often discovered to have dust in it on daily basis there are protests .Ann bishop the owner never seen anything like this before she listens to her neighbors report seeing a strange creature flying around in certain points of the outskirts of town .some say it was huge with the head of a bird and winged. Others that it had no wings, only a body long has a horse and able to stand up in two legs and walk fast ,faster than a man running .others allege have witnessed a light in the night sky few nights a go ,so strong and a blast ,like if a considerable enormous thing with the shape of a bowl was emptying light descending downwards to the ground ,from the sky, and suddenly despaired with a burst .since then everything around had suffered a massive and worsening drought, the field trees and vegetation the local river ,fountains and water at home have slowly despaired this last days ,and the population mostly local farmers ,had to call for the government emergency agency to come and save them from dying because they were running out of water supply .only the cattle died, however. Nevertheless, almost everywhere about, the farmers were talking about how this phenomenon never happened before, there were carcasses of dead cows and horses and sheep and goats everywhere. What was going on here .in some places the whole herd was dead. The rainless weather and insufficiency of water turned the earth arid, dry has a bone .besides the powder and dust covering everything outside and even inside the homes where people leave.
But this it's only the beginning of the story, the farmers because of the alien creature, become upset and anxious, so they decided that they would gather a few men every day, and they would go hunt it down in the neighborhood nobody spikes about another thing.
Everywhere there were dead animals and insects, the air around was too hot for people to be outside, and water was needed for people to refresh themselves during the day, especially those who have to work outside in the heat .dust was in everything, in the cloths in people's mouth. In the air and in the food they eat ., there were days that nobody could see with the dust cloud and had to wear a bandana to cover their mouth because respiration was becoming impossible .cars and houses were completely covered with dust and vision in daylight become thin. But the work had to be done, and there were water supplies to deliver to the isolated neighborhood. The problem was keeping the peace and order because of the men will to go hunt the creature was causing some disturbance in the neighborhood, nobody wanted to be shouted or see their homes robed by men hunting a creature from outer space if there were any.
Ann bishop was a lady in their mid-forties, she come from the city a few years ago to take care of her father's farm. her father had moved to the country a few years before her. And brought a farm with cows, and a horse, and sheep, and pigs. it was his dream, and he made it! Unfortunately, he died two years ago, and Ann already in her forties as her daddy successor decided to move in and take over where he left in the farm. Everything was good until this last episode of drought .she never thought she will wake up one morning and see her cows and horse and sheep laying in the floor. Dead with no water .rainless weather dirt and high temperatures, for a city girl like she was this was the scenario of a horror movie and one of those with cheap production.
Because there was something strange in the neighborhood besides the drought the local folks mostly farmers with Ann bishop included decided to have another reunion to think about what to do with the gossip there was an alien creature living in the neighborhood, so they call for a meeting in the local red oak church later in that day.
When the hour arrived, everybody come and the church was full of the people .and everybody was hoping the reunion will be culminating with a resolution approved by unanimity .all will have the chance to spike up and give their opinion on the issue being discussed.. One at a time in an orderly manner. Ann was one of the last to spike up and give her opinion about the creature, she was raised in the city, so she was less superstitious than the other farmers and that counted a few points in her favor.it was nice to have someone around with their head fully in her place and completely over the shoulders which everyone could count within difficult times .so after a few words she voted in favor of calling in a magician a wizard an Indian guy who is known by his magic divining powers. he was able to guess what was going on if it involved supernatural powers .this opinion was voted by all with unanimity .and the Indian magic men were called for .soon there will be an answer for the creature issue and the drought!
the guys name was chief black cloud and he was the guy everybody wanted to see ! and he finally arrived the next day, he was the top drawer in divining the future .manitou chose him and gave him special powers so there he was was ready to do his mission. and all were hoping he had brought the answers they needed.
The chief black cloud arrived. he was received by all with joy, finally, they will have the answer they needed for this strange creature and drought event. and he went to his work after getting questioned all about the issue.in a while he started to build an Altair with candles and cups and animals he put a bid neckless with the power of manitou around his neck then he started to sing a chant in his native language and he made fire .he said before to the farmers that fire and smoke help him spike with the spirit and attain better results.
After a few hours of native chants and smoke, the chief black cloud had done all his work and he was in possession of an answer already ! he had all he needed to solve both the rumor of a mysterious alien creature being seen flying in the neighborhood .and also the mysterious drought in the town of red oak lately was facing! Everybody gathered in the church again, it had become the preferred reunion place because it was bigger than the city all auditorium.
the chief black cloud was about to spike to all.the news was good!
he started with the strange creature issue , manitou had spoken to him, and he was sure that it wasn't real , there are no such creatures and the town of red oak was not different.it was just a hallucination caused by the severe drought.in relation to the drought problem manitou also pronounce itself positively,the drought was caused by a global warming problem, something that's affecting the whole world,not just the small farmer's town of red oak and his going to pass soon. the great spirit told chief black cloud that the drought was going to end in a few days, rain his going to come in a few days and water everything around the soils the trees the plants, rivers will fill up and start running again .it also gave a word of advice for an eventual next time episode: which was a reserve of water big enough for long time surviving without rain should be built and kept secure for its to much important for the future of all!
a few days later it started raining as chief black cloud predicted and the little town of red oak slowly started to recover from the worst drought in their history !
Ann bishop and the other farmers actually did as they were told and built a big enough for all reservoir of water ! Next time they won't be caught by surprise, for sure!
